Scheduling and Contact Policy

This page defines how to reach me, when I’m available, and how I prefer to meet.

Availability

  • Time zone: US Central (CT), based in Austin, TX.
  • Standard meeting window: Mon–Fri 10:00–16:30 CT.
  • Early/late exceptions: 08:00–09:00 or 17:00–18:30 CT for time‑zone constraints (recruiters/critical work) with 24‑hour notice.
  • Blackout periods: 06:30–09:00 (training/deep work), 12:00–13:00 (lunch); weekends by exception.
  • Holidays: US federal holidays observed; no meetings unless urgent.

Meeting Format

  • Preferred durations: 30–45 min
  • Video: Google Meet preferred; Zoom/Teams on request (used Google Meet for demos).
  • Agenda: Include a 1–3 bullet agenda and the single decision/outcome you want. Share any links or materials in the invite.

Notice and Rescheduling

  • Minimum notice: 24 hours
  • Rescheduling: Allowed once per party with >12 hours notice
  • No‑shows: If you miss without notice, future scheduling requires explicit email confirmation.

Channels

Response Times

  • Typical: 1–2 business days.
  • Time‑sensitive items (offers/interviews/incidents): Same‑day when marked as urgent (see below).

Emergency

Urgent = offer/interview scheduling with ≤48‑hour deadline, on‑call incident, or other time‑critical commitment. To escalate:

  1. Email with subject prefix “URGENT – ”.
  2. SMS +1‑608‑620‑4651 referencing your email. If no response within 2 business hours during 10:00–16:30 CT, send a follow‑up SMS.
